Hi, I’m Max McConville, I am a fully qualified senior hairstylist with over 25 years experience. I completed my training with Mahogany in Oxford in 1991 and have been working in the industry ever since. I now work as a mobile freelance hairstylist based in Oxfordshire. I offer a hair service that clients would expect from a salon but in your own home or venue.
I have experience in all ranges of colour and cutting techniques for both women and men as well as children which means I can come to you and do the whole family’s hair.
I take great pride in my customer service and my main priority is my clients’ happiness. I am here to listen to what you want and enjoy creating a style and colour that you will love and that suits you!
I offer very flexible hours, working weekdays, evenings and Saturdays.

Bridal Styling
Trial
During the trial we are able to discuss the look and style that you want on your wedding day. During this consultation, I am able to give you and your party professional advice and we will have the opportunity to experiment with different styles.
Wedding Day
On your wedding day, I will travel to your home or chosen venue at an agreed time, reproduce your chosen style and ensure that you stay relaxed with plenty of time to spare.
A trial is essential before the wedding day. It is not essential for the bridesmaids to have a trial before the wedding day but it is recommended.
A £100 non-refundable deposit is payable when booking bridal hair for a wedding day.
A special day or Event! A great hairstyle is the final touch to completing your look for the big day. Max can be there to make sure it’s perfect for that important moment so you can relax and truly enjoy your day.
Wedding Day Hair
On your big day I can be there with you from start to finish doing touch ups throughout the day and during photos, veil removal if required & an evening change of hair ready for your first dance should you wish.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 will be taken on your trial to secure the date which will be deducted from your final payment. Payment will be due in full 1 week before your wedding.

My hair colouring services will not just help you get the colour that you want but also protect and preserve the good condition of your hair and scalp and make it radiate with shine and vitality. I also provide hair colouring services for clients who require special treatments such as skin sensitivities, vegan or herbal only colour products.
I will also discuss which aftercare products you may want to consider to prolong the tone and shine of your new colour.
